The last Gates sister is moving to Dallas to be closer to her family and take a shot at her dream job as a morning show host. Her initial talks have gone well, but she must charm the arrogant and awful man who will co-host, Thomas Black. They worked together briefly while she was in New York. Daiyu remembers how Thomas seemed to get entangled in a workplace romance constantly. Determined to get what she wants, Daiyu creates the perfect persona, Dee White. Dee White is the personification of what Thomas thinks he wants in a co-host; except she is female.
Thomas wants to host the show with a man. He's tired of talking about women's issues. Thomas has turned down every woman brought before him. When Dee White shows up, Thomas remembers the young inexperienced woman he met in New York and is surprised by how much she has changed in the years since he last saw her. She seems to be his equal on the set every day, but Thomas is determined to prove that she is just like all the other women who have tried to win him over. He's going to use all his charm and charisma to get what he wants, which turns out to be Daiyu's heart.
Black and White battle for what their hearts desire. Each is willing to hit below the belt, if necessary, which has the entire metroplex area tuning in to see if these two will continue fighting or fall in love.
