Suffice it to say, however, there are many interesting turns and twists along the way as David and Jessica have to each handle the crisis that is presented to them. Author Yolanda Richards is excellent at flushing out characters, revealing their motivations and quirks as the novel progresses. Best of all, the book is packed with the kind of contentious dramatic elements that romance readers enjoy the most.
For a light read, Scandalous is an excellent novel. Not only do the pages flow well, meaning that you'll get through the story quickly while enjoying it nonetheless, but the ending will leave you wanting more. That's one of the hallmarks of a good book -- creating characters so interesting that readers don't want to see the book come to an end.
