Ericka sat up on the bed, slowly planting her feet on the floor as she looked off into space. “Do you regret that it happened?”
Aaron rubbed her back, kissing the spine of it. “Hell no I don’t regret it. I’ve always wanted to be with you in that way…and more.”
Surprised, Ericka looked back at him. “Really? Why didn’t you say anything?”
“It somehow grew over the years. I’ve always known. It started happening while I was with Julie. I think that’s why she suspected something between us. It’s hard to hide feelings you have about someone when others can sense it.” Aaron reached for her hand, planting soft kisses on it.
