The end of her once loving relationship took its toll and Claire didn’t know how to deal with the feelings she never experienced before. To make matters worse, she couldn’t simply forget about her ex and had to pretend to continue dating him for another month before she could really call it a quits due to her label’s orders.
Even that wouldn’t be too much of an issue if Michael wasn’t constantly sending her mixed signals, making her even more confused on where they stood. It made her wish he truly still cared for her and, after sharing a kiss, Claire was even more positive that she would never truly get over the man. Still, she promised herself, as soon as he asked for his engagement ring back she would officially end it all in her heart. The only problem was it seemed to be easier said than done.
